Changelog

Follow new updates and improvements to Expiration Reminder.

Track your domains and SSL certificates automatically by connecting GoDaddy and DNSimple.

You can now connect your GoDaddy and DNSimple accounts to Expiration Reminder. Once connected, we automatically pull in — and keep in sync — the expiration dates for:

  • Domains — every domain in your GoDaddy or DNSimple account, with its registration expiration date.
  • SSL/TLS certificates — the certificates in your account, with their expiration dates.

No more copying renewal dates into a spreadsheet or finding out a certificate expired from an angry customer. The dates come straight from the source and stay current on their own, so an expired domain or certificate never takes a service offline unnoticed.

Synced items are ordinary tracked items, so your existing reminder cadence, notifications, tags, and assignees apply to them automatically.

Get started: open your integrations settings and connect your GoDaddy or DNSimple account. If you manage multiple accounts, you can connect each one.

New

Vehicle and Equipment Assignments

You can now schedule vehicles and equipment to one or more operators across specific time windows. This replaces the single current-assignee field with a full assignment timeline, so you can model shift work, rotating crews, and shared equipment pools.

What you can do:

  • Assign a vehicle or piece of equipment to multiple operators across overlapping or sequential shifts, each with its own start and end date and time, plus an optional comment
  • Schedule assignments in advance, and extend or shorten an active assignment when plans change
  • View past, current, and future assignments on a calendar, filtered per vehicle, per equipment, or per contact

Find it under the new Assignments item in the Vehicles and Equipment sections, and on the Assignments tab of any vehicle or equipment record. Each contact's Vehicles and Equipment tabs now show that person's full assignment history.

Your existing Assigned To filters, grids, exports, and notifications are unchanged.

You can now generate a document from a template, send it to a contact for electronic signature, and have the signed copy filed automatically against the right record. The whole renewal-by-signature loop now happens inside Expiration Reminder.

What you can do:

  • Build reusable contract templates with merge fields that pull in contact, company, item, and expiration details automatically.

  • Send a signature request from an expiration item or from the Signatures page, preview the resolved document, and email a signing link to a contact.

  • Track every request by status (Pending, Signed, Declined, Expired) and open the signed PDF, with a timestamped audit trail for each envelope.

Find it under Documents in the left menu, split into Contract Templates and Signatures. When a document is signed, the PDF is filed back to the expiration item, linked to the related contacts, and the expiration date is renewed automatically. Existing items, contacts, and documents are untouched.

You can now plan, run, and document toolbox talks and safety briefings directly in Expiration Reminder, with attendee sign-in, electronic signatures, and a full audit trail per meeting.

What you can do:

  • Schedule meetings with a date, time, duration, location, shift, and facilitator, then pick attendees from your contact list (filter by tag or location to add a crew at once).

  • Build meeting content three ways: write it yourself, upload a PDF (for example, an SDS or an OSHA bulletin), or generate a starter draft with AI based on the topic.

  • Run a sign-in kiosk on a shared tablet or laptop at the meeting. Each attendee taps their name, signs on screen, and you watch the signature count climb in real time.

  • Track attendance with four states (Expected, Signed, Not Attended, Excused) and reasons, then move the meeting through Draft, Scheduled, In Progress, Pending Signatures, and Completed.

  • Reuse content across meetings with a Topics library, and pull five standard reports: Attendance, Completion by Site, Compliance Gap, Employee History, and Topic Coverage.

Look for Safety Meetings in the main navigation. The Kiosk button is on the index and on each meeting's detail page.

Conductor reminders fire one hour before each scheduled meeting, unsigned-meeting reminders go to attendees once a meeting moves to Pending Signatures, and admins get a completion alert when a meeting closes out.

Safety Meetings is a plan-gated module. If you do not see it in your menu, contact your account manager.

The new Document Library brings every certificate, license, COI, policy, and training record into one organized place in Expiration Reminder, with folders, expiration tracking, and direct links to the people and records they belong to.

What you can do:

  • Upload documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, CSV, TXT) with drag-and-drop and multi-file support

  • Organize files into folders and sub-folders (up to 5 levels deep), with breadcrumb navigation

  • Bookmark documents you reference often and switch between All, Bookmarked, and Archived tabs

  • Filter by expiration date, last modified, file format, tags, or uploaded by

  • Link a document to one or more contacts, expiration items, policies, companies, locations, equipment, or vehicles

  • Generate a QR code for any document so field staff can pull it up on a phone

  • Preview PDFs and images directly in the browser, with an Edit view for renaming, replacing the file, updating the description, and managing tags

You will find it in the main navigation under Documents. All attachments you previously uploaded against records (contacts, expiration items, policies, and others) are already part of the library, with their original links intact.

If you delete a folder, its documents and sub-folders are automatically moved up to the parent folder rather than removed, so nothing gets lost by accident.

Expiration Reminder is introducing a NEW compliance feature that helps users quickly track Document Type compliancy at-a-glance!

Click on ‘Compliance’ in your top menu, then ‘Document Type Compliance’.

You can now see a full list of all your account’s Document Types, along with how many expiration items within each Document Type are currently in an ACTIVE status versus an INACTIVE status.

Furthermore, if you click on ‘View Compliance’ for each Document Type, you can see a pie chart that provides both a visual of active vs. inactive expiration items with that Document Type, but also a percentage of each status.

ACTIVE status is any expiration item that is currently in an up-to-date, no expiration, not applicable, or near expiry status. INACTIVE is anything that is expired, missing, or on hold.

This is a great report that shows users where they may need to concentrate their efforts for compliancy purposes!

Improved

We're excited to announce that Vehicles can now be included in the Roadmaps compliance feature! 🎉

With this enhancement, you can track compliance items for your fleet alongside other entities like Employees and Vendors. This helps ensure a centralized view of upcoming and overdue compliance requirements — such as licenses, registrations, emissions tests, and inspections — all in one place.

What’s new:

  • Vehicles now appear as a selectable category when creating or editing a Roadmap.

  • You can assign compliance items to Vehicles just like you do for People or Vendors.

  • Vehicles added to compliance tracking will have the Roadmaps section available in their overview page

🔒 Availability: This feature is available on Standard, Business, Professional, and Enterprise plans.
