iOS Expiration Reminder App is Hot Garbage

Feature Request

Unsure if anyone has tried this product but it doesn’t work, if you select an expiration and click the “edit” button nothing happens…and once you select it you’re unable to go back to previous screen…if lucky you can click the “home” button at the bottom and may be able to get the app to work again but usually have to force quit. Anyways, would be really nice to have this feature working again…very handy when in the field.

    Hi Scott,

    Thanks for your feedback. ‘Hot garbage’ on a Monday morning definitely made me laugh out loud!

    Anyway, our team’s focus this year has been on the new interface on the web version of the Expiration Reminder platform. Our mobile app that is available for download for ios & Android has always been a much simpler version of the web version without nearly as many features/capabilities, and there are indeed several bugs with it currently that have not been prioritized the last little while, so I apologize if that’s been an inconvenience.

    With that said - the great news is that our web version is now MOBILE FRIENDLY. So you can head on over to www.expirationreminder.com via your Google app, or whatever preferred browser you use on your smartphone, login as you could from a laptop, and you now have FULL ACCESS to your account on your phone. You can now do pretty much anything on your phone as you could from a computer or laptop device. This is a much better option than relying on the downloadable ER app.

    I would highly encourage you to pivot from the app and start using ER through the website on your phone. I think you will find the experience is way better than the mobile app and our developers have been working on this for a little while now so our customers can gain the full experience on their phones.
