Ability to renew from actual date of expiration

For example, I have an expiration which is set to expire on 8/26/2026, if I go to renew (noting that today is 8/19/2026) when I opt to renew it by default says 8/19/2027…I would prefer it to say 8/26/2027. This used to work in the old system before this change and now does not…its a pain if you have items that are set to expire a month or 2 months from now on different dates (such as 10/7/2026) if I select to renew it defaults to 8/19/2027 and I have to manually (or try to remember) to go to the true date of expiration (10/7/2027). Please change.
